Johannesburg, South Africa – June 26, 2025 – ZLink, the smart energy solutions brand under Hexing, celebrated the grand opening of its new South African manufacturing facility today, reinforcing its commitment to local production and technological innovation in the region.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together over 120 industry leaders, including government officials from the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, municipal representatives, and key private sector partners in South Africa's water and energy sectors. The Acting Director of the DTIC praised ZLink's investment as "a model for sustainable industrial development that creates jobs while modernizing critical infrastructure."

As ZLink's first dedicated manufacturing site in Africa, the facility will produce advanced metering and IoT solutions for utilities while creating skilled technical employment opportunities.
